Saturday, January 8, 2005:

We lost pretty much this whole day because of flying over the date line. Because of strong winds, instead of flying direct to Hong Kong we had to go to Hong Kong via Seoul. Probably too many brown boxes weighting down the plane. The plane was fairly nice – all the seats have TV screens in the headrests. Justin had a hard time going to sleep because of his height – too hard to get comfortable. Crystal slept almost the whole time – actually much better than she sleeps at home – perhaps she can sleep in an airplane chair from here on out. We think somebody dropped a bag on Justin's head at some point – we both have a fuzzy memory of this. If nothing else, it gives him an excuse for anything stupid he does during the trip.
